Job Summary

The candidate will be responsible for creating and developing product designs, providing technical support, and collaborating closely with production teams to ensure that designs meet all specifications and quality standards in the manufacturing process.

Location : Mumbai

Employment Type : Full time - 9:30am-6:00pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Create detailed product designs and specifications using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
  • Develop 3D models and simulations to test the design concepts.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards, specifications, and industry regulations.
  • Analyze existing designs to identify opportunities for cost reduction, performance enhancement, and efficiency improvements.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of design changes, revisions, and testing results.
  • Ensure that all designs are properly documented and comply with ISO and other industry standards.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in similar industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Job Summary

A Procurement Engineer is responsible for buying the best quality equipment, goods and services at the most competitive prices to enable a company or organisation to operate. Through effective negotiation, networking and dealing with numbers, purchasing managers help save money and increase profits.

Location : Mumbai

Employment Type : Full time - 9:30am-6:00pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive purchase requisition/ indent from Production planning for various items.
  • Depending on the lead time involved and the requirement, call for quotations from a minimum of 3 vendors, conduct technical evaluation, bring all quotations on par, conduct commercial negotiations, prepare comparative statement, list and discuss the pros and cons of each vendor with management.
  • During commercial evaluation, have an approach of cost of purchase rather than per item price approach.
  • Release purchase order / work order on vendors based on evaluation of offers for minimum order quantity complete with all technical specification and quality requirements.
  • Enter into rate contracts wherever possible, credit payment terms, revolving LCs, etc.
  • Follow up and expedite for deliveries of items ordered. Liaise with inspection if items delivery to be taken after inspection. Mitigate risks wherever identified.
  • Work and finalise on logistics if in Company's scope
  • Co-ordinate with stores for receipt of items, inspection upon receipt, acceptance and entering into inventory
  • Review the invoice, packing list, requisite quality documents, warranty/ guarantee certificates, etc from vendors. Compare with PO terms and approve the invoices if found acceptable for release of payment. If discrepancy found, co-ordinate with vendor for rectification.
  • Maintain complete documentation of orders and correspondence for traceability

Qualifications and Skills
